The Centre de recherche du Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CRCHUM) is the largest biomedical and healthcare research centre at Université de Montréal and one of the largest in Canada. More than 1 793 people work at the CRHUM, including 451 scientists and 433 graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
The CRCHUM is unique in its proximity to the university hospital and its willingness to work in the three complementary research components: basic, clinical and population health research.
Opened in October 2013 and located in the heart of downtown Montreal, the CRCHUM obtained the LEED Gold environmental certification and has equipment on the cutting edge of technology
