A motivating kick-off!
Some 80 people took part in the 2018 CRCHUM Challenge kick-off event on January 29th.
In a festive atmosphere, CRCHUM director Vincent Poitout launched the registration for the run and walk scheduled for April 21st and 22nd. He was accompanied by the Challenge ambassadors, including Fondation du CHUM CEO Julie Chaurette, who joined him to invite teams from the Fondation and the hospital to take part in the activity.
In a call for mobilization, CHUM CEO Dr. Fabrice Brunet reached out to employees of all departments of the CHUM and their families.
Organized as part of the 21K Montreal Scotiabank Charity Challenge, the CRCHUM Challenge is a sports event whose goal is to raise money to put towards research and training activities at the CHUM.
This event has allowed us to raise over $675,000 since 2010.
Participants can choose from among several options
- April 20th: 1K family route, 5K (walk/run), 10K
- April 21st: 21K
Reduced registration fees are offered to people who will be raising money for the CHUM Research Centre.
