The direction of the CRCHUM is proud to announce that seven of our researchers have received salary awards from the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS) for 2017-2018.

The new recipients are Nathalie Auger, Moishe Lieberman, Valérie Martel-Laferrière, Aude Motulsky, Alex Parker, Marie-Pierre Sylvestre and An Tang.

The provincial funding agency has also given training awards to 30 of our students, postdoctoral fellows and residents.

Our research centre performed very well, according to Dr. Vincent Poitout, Director of the CRCHUM and Director of Research at the CHUM: “I am proud of the success of our researchers and students. These awards will allow them to continue their work in their respective fields of excellence.”

Also noteworthy: among the ten research networks funded, three are led by CRCHUM researchers: the Cancer Research Network (RRC) directed by Anne-Marie Mes-Masson, the Quebec Network for Research on Aging (RQRV) directed by Pierrette Gaudreau, as well as the AIDS and Infectious Disease Network (SIDA-MI), headed by Michel Roger and Cécile Tremblay.
